Chart Guide

Each chart is a conversion matrix or a two-column lookup:

  • Find your source unit in the left column
  • Read across to the target unit column
  • The cell value is the conversion factor or converted result
  • Multiply a factor by your value, or use the pair lookup as-is

Example: 1 psi = 6.895 kPa (pressure table, row "1 psi", column "kPa")

  • Download a featured PDF for a shop-floor or desk printout
  • Use Ctrl+P (or Cmd+P on Mac) to print any HTML table
  • Select "Landscape" orientation for wider matrices
  • Bookmark this page for the HTML tables and PDF links together

All values sourced from international standards:

  • NIST — National Institute of Standards and Technology
  • BIPM — Bureau International des Poids et Mesures
  • Values shown to 3–6 significant figures
  • Interactive calculators use the same library and still round the display
  • See the About page for sources and IEEE 754 limits

Unit Conversion Charts and Printable PDF Tables

Look up common conversion values in HTML tables, or download printable PDFs for desk and shop-floor use. This hub covers everyday units plus engineering charts for pressure (PSI ↔ kPa), power (hp ↔ kW), speed (mph ↔ kph), and length (mm ↔ inches). Factors follow NIST and BIPM definitions. Currency and live FX rates are not listed here.

How factors are sourced, how the library is updated, and how IEEE 754 rounding is treated are documented on the About page.

Chart FAQs

Common questions about conversion charts, printable PDFs, and HTML tables.

How do I use these conversion charts?

Find the unit you are converting from in the left column, then read across to the unit you want. The intersection is the factor for one unit. Multiply your value by that factor. For pair tables such as PSI to kPa or hp to kW, read the matching value in the second column.

Where is the pressure conversion chart PDF?

The pressure conversion chart PDF (PSI, kPa, bar, and atmospheres) is linked at the top of this page and also lives on the pressure conversion chart HTML page. It is a crawlable download at /downloads/pressure-conversion-chart.pdf.

Where is the horsepower to kilowatts chart?

Use the horsepower to kilowatts conversion chart PDF, the matching kilowatts to horsepower PDF, or the HTML tables on /hp-to-kw-conversion-chart and this hub. 1 mechanical horsepower equals 0.7457 kW.

Can I print or download these charts?

Yes. Each featured chart has a printable PDF with descriptive download text, plus an HTML table you can print from the browser (Ctrl+P or Cmd+P). PDFs are linked so search engines can crawl them.

How accurate are the values in these tables?

Conversion factors follow published SI and customary definitions (NIST, BIPM, and related standards). Chart values are shown with 3–6 significant digits for readability. Interactive calculators use the same library in IEEE 754 binary64 and still round the on-screen result. See the About page for sources and precision limits.

Do you publish engineering conversion charts?

Yes. The engineering conversion chart covers force, pressure, power, and energy and is a regular indexable reference with HTML tables and a printable PDF. Pressure and power charts are promoted from this hub.

Do you include currency or FX charts?

No. This hub does not list live currency or FX charts. Exchange rates change continuously, so they are not mixed into these indexable unit-conversion tables.
