kWh cannot be converted directly to kVA
Kilowatt-hours (kWh) measure energy, while kilovolt-amperes (kVA) measure apparent power. A valid calculation requires the operating time and the load power factor.
Required relationship
kVA = kWh ÷ (hours × power factor)
This assumes a steady load over the stated time. Without both inputs, any single conversion result would be misleading.
